storage for flour & sugar- bulk
Hi ladies, I'm going to have to post and run b/c I'm way behind with my day but I am going nuts looking for a good way to keep flour, sugars, and pasta stored. I'd like glass crocks/canesters but all that I've found are those tall, skinning ones (like at JoAnns, Michaels, Target, etc). I'd prefer glass, enamel or even stainless steel over plastic but they need to be wide enough for me to scoop and use them.
I've kinda stopped baking since putting my farmers market flour in a tall glass canester- no fun. Any recommendations would be appreciated- TIA!

Re: storage for flour & sugar- bulk
I have a set similar to these from Target that work out well:

I have three sizes - S, M, L that I use for oatmeal, sugar and flour. I can fit a 1 cup scoop in there and they seal well.
I keep my brown sugars and powdered sugar in mason jars in the spice drawer
I use gallon size mason jars made by Ball. I think I got them at Hobby Lobby when they were 1/2 price.
The mouth is wide enough for me to get my one cup measure in to scoop out flour and sugar.
I use storage canisters from BB&B:
These for flour & sugar (stainless):

I don't know if the window is plastic or not though, so you might prefer these (just maybe not filled to the top):

And these for other bulk items (rice, couscous, oatmeal, loose teas etc):

I don't know why the reviews are so bad. I've had these sets for 5 years without any issues.
