Re: 6 months in
Besides some technicalities (changed my name and insurance), neither of us really feel like things are any different. Which is a good thing for us!

Same here!

Um, except that you're having a baby ;-)
Everything's very similar for us (all good, just the legal name change stuff), except that we're almost done with buying a house, something that was originally slated for 2012 or so in our plan. Stock went up, loan rates went down, and housing prices went down, so we bought. So excited to be in a 4 bedroom house instead of the 1 bedroom condo!!!!
What can you say about your marriage so far? Not a whole lot, we didn't date long before we got married, but lived together for almost a year, and no significant changes, besides the name change.
What's changed? My name and the our financial situation and paying bills has been combined.
Any unforeseen challenges? Can not having sex be considered a challenge??
Any special joys? None yet
How do you feel about it overall: good, bad, exactly what you thought it would be like, etc? I love being a "wife" but it is the same as I thought it would be.
Yep it's the same lol.
I do love seeing the ring on his finger, though. That's new, and I love looking at it and knowing what it represents.
This too!! I love seeing Lance's ring on his finger, partly because I love that I have never seen anything like it and mostly because I just love seeing him wearing something that means so much and marks him as MINE!!
Well, I guess that is a little different than before! Haha!

Life is better, since I moved in after the wedding. Everyone said it was going to be a big change, since we hadn't lived together before the wedding, and we'd have to get used to each other's quirks. Yes, we've both got quirks that annoy us (he trims his facial hair with nothing under his face except the sink, so the hair gets everywhere - and he doesn't clean it up, just runs water to try and push it down the drain, or will take the trash out, but doesn't put a liner back in the can), but they don't get us down to the point that we still don't enjoy each other.
We got a kitten 5 months in, who is 7 months old (pic in siggy), and she turned our lives upside down a bit, but we love her to death. In fact, we dropped her off at the vet to be boarded this weekend since we're going out of town, and our place just isn't the same without her here.
I don't know how to explain it, but it's like there's just a nice flow to things now. We have our routines down and don't need to ask for help, we just sort of know how to help each other.
This is the same for us too. Everyone told us it would be different, but we were pretty much "us" before the wedding making decisions together and such so that has remained.
