Whilst at the gym over lunch running I started thinking about how many of us are into (or trying to get into running). I think this is awesome!
For those of you who think you can't run a 5k without walking or could never run a marathon I wanted to share an article I read a few weeks ago (don't worry, it's not all cheesy)
http://www.sodahead.com/living/heaviest-man-finishes-26-mile-marathon-could-you-do-it/question-1604939/
And then I totally have fun with my running. This is my race day shirt for crying out loud!
Re: Any One Can Do It!
Darn it.
And in case hte pic doesn't show up, here is the link: http://www.gypsyrunner.com/images/turtle-neon_on_black2.jpg
Here is the shirt. Stupid Nest picture uploading. It's so much harder!!!
Ahaha, I love it! Sometimes when I'm running (outdoors) and I'm super tired I am pretty sure that I could actually walk faster. That or I'm so tired I just feel like I'm going in slow motion...
I don't know though.... my first 5k was the Turkey Trot last year and I was pretty humbled by the chick who totally passed me running AND pushing a double stroller.
Too bad you didn't have that shirt Lacey, that woulda been awesome!
I bought it at the Rock N Roll Expo they hosted at the convention center a few weeks ago. Mine is actually white sleeveless with green but this is what I quickly found online
I think you can order from www.gypsyrunner.com.
Y'all for real...anyone can. When I started my BMI put me in the morbidly obese category. No joke.
That being said, running isn't for everyone though. Some people just don't like it and that's okay too.
