TMI - blood in urine

SO this is way tmi - forewarning....

So hubby just came home to change for a work dinner.. and said he has blood in his urine. We had sex last night and got a little rough, he claims that he might have smashed his balls? Is that even possible?

I called the doctor and they are open to 8 so he is going to go in after his work dinner. I am totally freaking out, I don't understand how he could have blood in his urine cause by sex? I am torn between being worried, upset, and confused... and feeling really guilty...

I told him to skip his dinner and he really can't bc it is with some big client and he has to pick up his boss. He isn't in pain he says...

So I guess I am forced to wait around and try not to freak out.... just another thing to go wrong in my crap-tastic day!

I have heard that if a guy is hit in the testicles hard enough that it can make them have blood in their urine, so I would assume that it was possibly caused by sex. I would also tell you that if he isn't in pain then there is not much to worry about. Try not to freak, I am sure that he will be just fine!!

Yikes! I've never heard of that happening, but who knows?

The only time I've had blood in my urine is from a UTI....but if he says he's not in pain, that's probably not it (you would know pretty darn quickly if it was that).

I hope he feels better! Let us know what the doctor had to say.

Thanks! I kind of got a little freaked out because the nurse was like, "he needs to come in tonight" when I told her what happened... so hopefully it will just be nothing....

No problem! I have learned lots about the male anatomy with my accident prone 4 year old nephew.

Funny Story...I was babysitting him a few months ago and had to give him a shower before bed time, so he is in there washing away and I am sitting on the toilet talking to him and supervising, all of a sudden he starts yelling "Ouchie, Ouchie." I think that he has soap in his eye so I peek my head in and ask if he got soap in his eye, to which he responds "my pee pee burns!" I yell for Lance that his "pee pee" is burning and Lance replies "He probably got soap in the hole," completely nonchalantly. I didn't even know that could happen or that it would burn!

Let us know what the doctor says!

I still remember the blood-curdling scream from my brother when he was a kid and got soap in his pee hole.

Jen - You need to keep your friskiness down!  I hope Eric is okay.  Keep me posted!  (I am kinda LOLing though to be honest, I just hope everything is okay and a little part of me is hoping that you did smash his male bits and it isn't anything else.  It could possibly be a kidney infection as well.)
