I need recs for a good place in St. Pete for a pedicure...

Not wanting to leave the area, but desperately need a pedicure!

I used to go to Diva Day Spa (in the mall) - but the last time I went in Nov. 09 (days before my cruise) the person that did it caused some horrendous hang-nail issues. I was in serious pain my entire cruise, and it was SO bad that when I got back, my doctor not only had to fix it, but also had to put me on antibiotics! It was only (one) experience, but all it takes is once and I'm scarred for life, lol. I just don't want to go back there! I'm so afraid of this happening again (and wouldn't you know, I'm very close to going on a cruise again!)

I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount for a pedicure, looking to spend 25-30... so please recommend somewhere else in St. Pete!!

I am not sure on pricing, but when I lived in SP, I went to Aacardi. Their pedis are amazing! Blossom goes there too, I believe.

I went to the Aveda Institute 2 weeks ago and my toes still look great. $20 for their highest level service AND you pick out a brand new bottle of OPI polish that you get to keep. I had been there a few times in the past with less than stellar results but this last time was great, especially with the free bottle of polish!

When i used to live in St. Pete I went to Poshe.  It is in the plaza on 4th and 9th with Starbucks & Tijuana Flats.

I go to Aacardi and I love it! I think a pedicure might be $40 but very worth it in my opinion! The Aveda deal sounds really good, too! But I think it takes a long time so I would call and check to make sure, I went with a friend a while back and we were there forever it seemed like.
