5. Plans for the weekend? Low key tonight... doing the summer/winter clothes flop in the closets and starting to pack for Hilton Head WOO! Tomorrow - kickboxing, oil change, and prob hitting the shooting range for a bit. Sunday - b-fast in the AM then prob cutting the grass for the first time this year!!! (i'm sick i love cutting my grass with my push mower, head phones in ear lol it's like the gym, but productive!)

5. Plans for the weekend? Wellll tonight we are going out to dinner IF I get this dang job. If not, we'll cook something and probably have some wine and stay in. Tomorrow is doggy school, manicure and hopefully some pool time. Otherwise no plans but something always manages to come up!

4. Name a fad from your teenage years. Tamagachi (although that was really when I was in grade school). Wide flare jeans (not as bad as bell bottoms lol)
5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight is probably going to be low key. My parents and MIL might be coming to visit us tomorrow for lunch. Sunday I'm going to a Seder with a couple of friends! Should be fun!

5. DH is trying to get together with hockey buddies and may do it at our house, so I'll be on my own or helping get their party started (tonight). Tomorrow shopping/ errands with DH then Sunday the kids will come to our house since their mom will be gone all day. (not our weekend to have them but its better than leaving them unsupervised when we'll be around anyway).

3. What song makes you nostalgic? Many. The radio stations around here always play songs that were big when I was in high school and I love it.
4. Name a fad from your teenage years. The only thing that jumps out at me are the cell phone covers on the old school cell phones. You could snap them on and off to change the color and pattern. This was back before all the flip phones became big.
5. Plans for the weekend? None. We're a fly by the seat our pants kind of people. I really just need to pick up something from the car dealership and that's about it. We may try a BBQ restaurant that people have been recommending, but that's all.

Please & Thank Yous. It disgusts me! All of Jeff's friends know they better say please when they as for something or I'm not moving. I make sure to use it every time I have a request at work as well.

Epic fail. : ( Mainly because Maggie just crawls under the covers and messes it up anyway after we leave!

Lately, "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree", my grandma (that is estranged) used to play it at the piano, and we would sing it. And, I admit it, there is a few of "songs" that exes and I had that will take me back for a bit. Just the good guys, though...screw all those pricks I managed to find! Haha!

Hmm...Doc Martin's? Everyone had them, and I couldn't afford a pair! I was so sad! : (

Oh boy...here we go!
Tonight - Jeff and I are going out to eat at a really nice restaurant about an hour away to celebrate the one-yearness, since I made other plans on Sunday...oops...
Saturday - Alumni volleyball tournament starting at 8:30 am...yikes! Then we are going up to a pub about 20 minutes away that are giving free drinks to the people playing in the volleyball tournament Sunday. Then back to our local tavern to have drinks with old classmates.
Sunday - A volleyball tournament that starts at 10 am. I am excited, but nervous for this one because we may get our asses rolled! Then cake! Cake! Cake! I'm SO excited!!!

1. What is one common courtesy that you find a lot of people are missing lately? Simply saying "please" or "thank you", and just being courteous in general.
2. Do you make your bed every day? I try to, but most days if the covers get pulled up to the pillows, I'm doing good :-)
3. What song makes you nostalgic? Two: "Loving You" by Minnie Ripperton...for some reason, it takes me back to the summer of 75, when it was playing on the radio and I was outside playing in my Mom's rose bushes. I can see that day as clear as ever whenever I hear that song. It's a sweet memory! Also, Billy Joel's "Time to Remember" - it was our senior song, and it always takes me back to that summer!
4. Name a fad from your teenage years. Big hair with bangs, bleached Levis jeans, white t-shirts, pastel blazer and loafers with no socks...It was all about the Miami Vice look!
5. Plans for the weekend? It was supposed to be going to the Yards to watch my boys play Texas, but rain may alter that plan. Plan B is definitely to get soem shopping done!
Um, there was an entire Summer that I wouldn't let Jeff think about mowing because I loved it so much! Now that our yard is mega-huge...I have relinquished those duties. : )
2. Do you make your bed every day? NO...I would like to start...maybe. Wait...I've never been good about making my bed. It's worse now having a hug King size bed.
3. What song makes you nostalgic? Anything from the late 90's...i.e. Alanis Morrissette, Oasis, Third Eye Blind, Wall Flowers...you know. LOL
4. Name a fad from your teenage years. I had a pair of JNCO's...Also Vans and Airwalks (before they were sold by Payless).
5. Plans for the weekend? Today we're heading to State College (Penn State) for an orientation thingy that DH is doing for a mentorship with the program he graduated from (about 2 hours away), going out for dinner and getting ice cream at the creamery. Tomorrow sleeping in, visiting my preggo MOH, writing papers the rest of the time. JOY! NOT!
Ohhh, Vans!!!! I had a pair. They were platform, even! I forgot about that "fad"...wife-beater tanks, short shorts, long white socks and platform Vans. Haha! I think they passed the dress code to make shorts longer because of my friends and I! : ) Atleast we were all skinny and had super hott legs at the time! : )

4. Name a fad from your teenage years. Oh my SO many things. Choaker necklaces, plaid skirts, body suits (you know the leotards that snapped at the crotch), plaid shirts, Jessica McClintock prom dresses
5. Plans for the weekend? No plan for this weekend really. Cleaning organizing the rest of our wedding gifts that are at mom's house taking dad's old lawnmower and other yard tools to the shop to have them checked out. Pretty low key which I'm happy about!
hahaha! I remember having a couple pairs of them too! OMGSH....my mom bought me a pair a few years back (i.e. 3 years maybe??) that were black with pink on them. I don't think she got the memo that I am not16 anymore. haha. She always asks me about those shoes too...I have never ONCE worn them. I wish I had them back in the day though...it would have been way cool.
I remember having jeans with holes in the knees etc...and when I was in Middle School they made me change into sweat pants because that wasn't appropriate. I felt like a loser!
I laughed at the Jessica McClintock prom dresses! soooo true!
hahaha - we have a pretty big yard - takes me about 3 hours to do the whole thing - but i do love doing it! we have a rider too but it scares me lol Sami uses that when there is a blue moon and he is motivated to do yard work. lol

2. Do you make your bed every day? Just about, unless I'm planning to change the sheets that day.
3. What song makes you nostalgic? Anything popular in 1988 - Need You Tonight, Pour Some Sugar on Me.
4. Name a fad from your teenage years. It was the late 80's, early 90's, so there were a lot! I'll go with gray Champion college sweatshirts because I lived in them in high school.
5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight: nada, already have dinner cooking in the crock pot and will watch the Phillies game. Tomorrow: lots of errands and cleaning since my family is coming on Sunday. Sunday: going with my mom, sisters, niece and older nephew to see American Idiot on Broadway as a late 16th bday celebration for my niece. DH will watch my younger nephew while we're there (it's really cute, they're getting really close).

Lately I have been dealing with people not responding to phone calls and emails at work. If I bust my butt to get you information, but you find it out on your own anyway PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Then, by Brad Paisley because of the wedding. Also, How Can I Help you To Say Goodbye by Patty Loveless. When I moved away from my friends in 2nd grade my mom played that song for me and it still makes me cry. Such a sad/sweet song.

Big Jeans for sure. Does Nsync count as a fad? Because I loved me son Nsync.

Tonight my parents and Jeremy and I are having dinner and watching our wedding video for the first time! I am so excited! In the morning we are off to Boston! Saturday will be handing out shopping maybe the science museum. Sunday is Cask N Flagon, Yawkey Way, and the Red Sox Game!

1. What is one common courtesy that you find a lot of people are missing lately? Common courteous! i.e., when I stand in a line I don't like to "hug" the person in front of me so I stand back a ways but someone always butts in front and never asks if I was in line or says sorry! Drives me nuts!
2. Do you make your bed every day? Does pulling the sheet/comforter to the top count?
3. What song makes you nostalgic? Our first dance song and Footloose. I remember dancing on my parents front stoop all the time to that!

Tonight: I'm on my own so I'll be taking the dogs for a walk and working out

3. What song makes you nostalgic? Time after Time by Timmy T (anybody as old as me remember that one from 1990?). It reminds me of cruising thru the park with my BFF in high school my senior year.
4. Name a fad from your teenage years. Oh hell yeah - there are a ton from mine! Neon clothes/shoes. Stirrup pants. Parachute pants. Wearing our socks over our pants. BIIIIIG hair! MC Hammer-style drop crotch pants. And who can forget IOU SWEATSHIRTS!!! Viva the 80s!!!
5. Plans for the weekend? Hoping for this next 1:20 to go by fast so I can get home, dinner over my mom's then hoppin' a plane tomorrow for Florida!

I remember (& wore) almost all of that. The MC Hammer pants were called parachute pants - didn't have a pair of those but lots of my friends did! Did you wear the acid wash Jordache jeans withthe bows on the back at the ankle?? At my highschool you were considered so uncool if you didn't have at leat one pair. That might have been just @ my rural South Carolina high school. LOL.

3. What song makes you nostalgic? The titanic song by Celine Dion...Reminds me of 8th grade dances....oh the crushes I had back then....
