i think it's ridiculous that you have to jump through hoops and pay out the azz to adopt a baby....but any moron can have one of their own, even if they shouldn't be parents.

Yup. Although I am all for stringintely investigating adoptive parents, but it shouldn't be so expensive that it's out of reach for most people, unless they want a kid with severe health problems.

i'm glad my mom has lost some weight, she looks great and she feels better about her health...but i HATE being the fattest girl in the family now.

oh i know...but my little sister is like a size 4...and when my mom and i go shopping, we wear the same size pants, but they're always looser on her! it makes me cranky...lol.

also, i'm really glad i'm tall because 5 lbs here or there doesn't show up as much on me

I totally agree.  My MOH has been struggling with infertility and they want to adopt but saving up the dough is rough.  It also kills me that a friend of a friend recently had an abortion. . . I know it's her choice but it's just so hard to see someone terminate a pregnancy when I want so badly for my MOH to have a baby. 

I'd also like to know how these craptastic people manage to adopt kids and abuse the heck out of them.  How did these people make it through all the paperwork and where did they get the $$$$?

I returned a pair of bikini bottoms to JCrew yesterday because I could save $12 by returning ones I bought in the store and ordering the same ones online. Then I turned around and bought a pricey Trina Turk dress at Bloomingdales.

I'm dealing with Investment funds all day, and a lot of the fund symbols end in SX (eg, VALSX), and I alway think SEX in my head. 'cause I'm a perv.
