Creepy vacation story

Oh niners I have missed you! Long story short:

Plans changed last minute and we ended up driving down to Florida for a week. (Don't worry Tara, I will be checking out Omaha during the summer!!) So on Sunday we went to Universal Studios. We left our phones in the hotel because we figured, what do we need them in a theme park for.

We didn't get back to our room until about 1am. We got to the phones and there were several missed calls on both of our phones from his brother, some friends, and a ton from his co-workers. It freaked us out that something had happened back at home.

We looked at our texts and his brother sent us a link that a man in the county over from us was murdered that morning. His name was spelled exactly Jonathan ourlastname!

Now if anyone is friends with me on FB, you know how long and unique my last name is, so to hear that this guys first and last name was spelled the same was as Jon was creepy. He is around our age and went to the same college.

Of course no one except our family knew that we were out of town so everyone was even more scared when we didn't answer our phones! We made sure that our phones were with us the rest of the trip to calm down all of the other calls and texts we got.

Woops, I guess that was longer than I thought!
