Romance Rec's

H and I have been having some trouble making time for each other and stuff so Im trying to plan more romance for us. When life gets chaotic sometimes we have a media-free weekend, we turn our phones/computer off, no TV or movies etc. and we just enjoy each other either going out or playing cards or whatever. Well I feel like thats the only thing we ever do in an effort to reconnect. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Romance Rec's

  • We have a standard date night every week.  For the most part it is Saturday nights, but we try to be flexible.  We always do something nicer than normal on those nights be it go out to dinner, a movie or make a nicer dinner and have a bottle of wine at home.
  • wow, that's a good idea. i don't think i could ever convince my H to not have tv for a whole weekend. sad, but true.

maybe take a walk, or go on an outing? we always go to a park, botanical garden or somewhere else and walk around and talk.

Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
  • I second going for a walk or a hike together, we always enjoy that.

What about setting up a scavenger hunt for him around the house? You could do sentimental to super racy. The possibilities are endless!

  • My H would never shut off his phone.  On that, I would probably not shut the phone off either. I really just enjoy movie and take out or cooking a nice meal with a movie.

Mine wouldn't either but then again, neither would I! We are tv lovers in this house.
