Eating Well Magazine on "Green Fish"

I was browsing Eating Well magazine online as I do occasionally. And an article popped up about the six best and worst fish, environmentally speaking. I thought Id share:

http://www.eatingwell.com/food_news_origins/green_sustainable/the_best_and_the_worst_seafood_choices

But also, I didnt realize they had a "green" section at all so I was paging though.

Thought it was neat.

Re: Eating Well Magazine on "Green Fish"

  • Eating Well frequently has articles about "green" topics such as eating locally, choosing sustainably raised food, etc. I was pleasantly surprised by it, as well.
  • I am so glad to see Orange Roughy on the "avoid" list.  When I see that on restaurant menus it makes me SO Angry.  As the article says, "Orange roughy lives 100 years or more?so the fillet in your freezer might be from a fish older than your grandmother!?
