More weeds after re-seeding?

I don't know if it is just a coincidence, or a normal occurrence but I have WAY more weeds than I have ever had in my yard. The only thing I did different was to put down grass seed this fall. Is it possible that the grass seed had weeds in it as well?

Yes, it is very likely. In bagged grass seed, a certain % of weed seeds are allowable. However, if it's true that you have "way more weeds than ever", they can't all be from the grass seed, because the percentage allowable is very small- smaller than the percentage that would occur naturally in a given lawn.
