Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Just announced...no government shutdown...more details coming on the news apparently.

I was so stressed out about the whole thing that I said "Fvck it," quit watching news coverage at 9pm our time and went to bed. I just woke up to take a phone call from H and heard the news from him. I almost cried.
I'd finish off the two bottles of wine in my fridge in celebration but would rather go back to sleep. Maybe tomorrow.
At least your H wanted to know. My H - ya know, the one in the Air Force facing deployment soon since his first one didn't go through - didn't even know what was going on. I called him Friday morning and was like, "Has your chain of command said anything about this whole government shutdown thing? What happens if they can't come to an agreement?" And he was like, "What government shutdown? All I know is, we may not get paid a full check on the 15th. That would suck."
