Change of plans.....
So my husband accepted a competing job offer in Muscatine. Originally we thought we were going to be in the Iowa City area working for a different company, but this just ended up working out better b/c my in-laws live in Muscatine and this job paid a bit more. Hubby is already there, and I hope to be out there by June. Frantically searching for a teaching job....

Thanks! I am looking mostly in Muscatine, Louisa-Muscatine, Iowa City and the surrounding small towns- Wilton, Durant, etc.
I would love to do a get-together once I am out there! I will really need to meet people!
How was Estes Park???
I'd be game for a meet-up.
(I was worried the board disappeared for a few days there with the Nest hiccups!)
I'm still saying I need to meet people and I've been here a year! It's hard in a new area.
If you happen to be into running, there's a great running group in Muscatine that helped us get involved. That's one thing I really miss from when we used to live there.
Estes Park was great! I wish we had more time to explore. And that we had snowshoes! We got to go into the RMNP for an afternoon but most of the trails were covered in snow. Still beautiful though.
