My DS's 5th birthday party is next weekend. We are doing a Star Wars theme. He invited a few friends around his age. This year our families decided to come to his party; they usually don't attend our children's parties (they live in other states). So now we will have 8-10 cousins ranging from 8 to 15 years attending the party. I geared the games and favor bags around the 5 year crowd since we invited DS's friends. Favor bag includes a little Star War toy, fruit snacks and stretchy bands. But what do I do now with the kids basically 7-15? I don't have enough of the items in the favor bags to give to everyone (since I didn't know our families were coming). My DH said not to do any favor bags; he has never liked the idea. I already bought the items and put the bags together. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I wasn't going to not give the other (older) kids a goody bag. I am just wondering what they would like to get instead. The idea of cookies, suckers, candy, etc. sounds good. Or I was wondering if that age group also likes those stretchy bands... I could pick up some packs of those.
Sure, pick up some more. It can't hurt and if not all of them like or want it, you won't take too big of a loss (and really, you'll never know). Have fun!

7-15 is a little old for a goody bag.
