Any experience with night terrors?

I think I am grasping for straws here but if your LO has experienced night terrors, tell me about them. E has been waking the past few weeks at almost exactly the same time every night (1 AM) and is crying and inconsolable. Sometimes she is still in bed crying and other times she comes to her door. She will ask for things and when we give them to her she will throw them at us and get even more upset but will then ask for it again when we leave. She tears the covers and all her stuffed animals off her bed and then cries that she wants them and that her floor is messy. She will also repeat things over and over again (last night it was "my curtains are broken") and she can't be reasoned with. Any ideas what is going on?

Those sound like what we went through with my Ella. They are nightmares because night terrors kids do not wake up from. Sadly,though, I cannot give you any advice except to try and figure out what could be causing the nightmares. Even with the pediatricians help it took us close to 6 months to help Ella sleep again. I remember it well though and it was about the same age. She screamed random things just like your Ella too, like 'the water tipped over' or other random things. (((Hugs)))). It seems to be just a stage!

Brogan was doing this for a couple weeks, I had read that you're suppose to just talk softly and console if you can...just wait it out.  I also read that it could be associated with night time potty training, like if they were having to go or went in the night that their minds knew it was "wrong" etc.  I hope that makes sense.
