Cleaning with borax

I just bought my first box of borax on a whim today, because I know I have read that it is great for cleaning.  But I don't know what I'm supposed to use it for

Can you guys please share any brilliant uses you've found for borax?

It's awesome at scrubbing the bathtub. Just sprinkle it in and use it like Comet, with a damp cloth.

I've used it to get rid of fleas (pet bedding and carpet).  A google search for "borax uses" returns lots of lists of uses, including this one: http://www.diylife.com/2010/08/12/25-household-uses-for-borax/

I pretty much use it as a laundry booster. I add it with the soap during the wash cycle. I swear it got yellow armpit stains out, and it made my laundry smell so much better!
