So, I think I am going to attempt to make the Colette bed for our Master Bedroom. We currently have a wood sleigh bed, which I hate and it's HUGE. Anyway, I am trying to budget how much a mini make over for our bedroom would be and if you don't mind sharing, what was the total estimated cost for you to build the bed?
Also, what type of material did you use to upholster the bed? Where did you buy it?

I actually used mattress toppers for the padding like the Effortless-style blog. My fabric is actually an old Ikea curtain.
I'd say it was about $200-$250 to build....
Let me know if you have any specific questions. Building the bed was super easy you could totally do it yourself. You'll probably want a helper for the upholstery just cause it's a little bit of a pita.
