Jon and Kate at the Women's Show yesterday....

I was SO excited to go see Jon and Kate yesterday. I watched an hour long "fashion" show beforehand to make sure that I had a good place to watch Jon and Kate. So....1pm comes and Jon and Kate walk out onto the stage. First, let me say that Kate's hair is even bigger in real life than on tv - just something I noticed. So they walk out and start talking. I couldn't hear a darn thing! The sound system worked just fine for the fashion show, but I couldn't hear a word that Jon and Kate were saying. People were even shouting that they couldn't hear. Microphones were changed, but that didn't make much of a difference. I was very disappointed and even left Jon and Kate's part early to go to the rest of the vendors.

It's a shame the sound system wasn't working well.

 Also, for those of you offering $ to smack Kate (lol), sorry, I wasn't close enough. I did read the blog the Aunt Jodi's sister is writing....making me look at the show in a different light.

I was there too and we must have been on the same side of the stage because we couldn't hear anything either.  We were on Jon and Kate's left and they were turned the other way almost the whole time, mostly because it was only that side of the audience who could hear them and interact with them.   I think it was pretty obvious that they could hear everything fine but something was wrong with our speakers.  A bunch of people started leaving before the show ended so we were able to scoot up  to a spot where we were able to hear for the last 10 minutes or so.  But that sucked!
