So, I work at a bank, and we have a system that generates calling lists for us. I am the only person at my branch who has access rights to this system (there are only 3 of us in the branch). Normally this is not a problem, Usually our list is small, so I can get the information (phone numbers) out of the system for my coworkers to help call and they give me back their notes on the calls so I can enter them in the system. So we got a new list today...
283 names on it!!!!!! So, I called and e-mailed around (to the admin and other registered users at other branches) to see if there was a way to print it with the phone numbers on it (so I don't have to go into each individual page for the people-all 283 of them-and write down their phone numbers). No such luck. So guess what I'm doing this week? And tomorrow and Wednesday I have to sit in on a conference call for this system-a refresher course for all users. I'm going to ask them about it during the conference call-to see if they can change it so we can, because I'm sure there are branches with more people to call than us with the same problem.
Thanks for letting me vent! Oh and in case you're wondering, they will not let someone else at my branch go for training on this system. It costs the bank money to buy the right for anybody else to use it, and since we're such a small branch, they can't justify it.
