Loser Check-In

Hey ladies,

It's been 2 weeks since I posted my pity party, looking for guests, and I still haven't started counting calories. Embarrassed I tell myself that I'm gearing up for it. But right after I posted that, work told me that I was starting my new job in 2 weeks and I've been working a lot.

Today was my first day at my new job and I'm in love already! The only negative change (that I can see so far) is that my commute went from 15 min to 35. Otherwise, the place is bright and cheery and so are the people. I hope that this is going to help me open a new chapter. My computer screen faces the door, though, so I'm still nervous about going on sparkpeople to tally my calories b/c people will see where I'm surfing. But I think I should start counting tomorrow -- what's stopping me now? 

How have you been these past 2 weeks??

  • I'm thinking about starting up SparkPeople again. I'm almost afraid to see the numbers- but I think that means I need to see them. Things are going well other than that. Back down to my pre-MBA weight.

  • Meh I would think sparkpeople is legit, besides, happy workers do better work.

    Last night for shitsandgiggles DH and I weighed ourselves after the cruise and a big mexican dinner with friends.  I was up 10lbs.  I weighed myself this morning and I was already down 4 from that.

    So this week is back to routine.  Water, yoga and no dessert after dinner every night.

     

  •  i am not a calorie counter but Oliver and I went on a nice long walk today and I plan on making myself do this now every day! Its so nice to be back into the swing of things

  • I've been doing pretty good.  I am down 9.2lbs in 3 weeks.  This week probably won't be as good because I am leaving for vacation tomorrow.  I am heading to Ft Myers with a girlfriend for a wedding.

  • I didn't lose anything last week despite getting in 6 workouts, including my first outdoor run of the season! I was even up a few, actually, but it was that TOM. I'm hoping to see a loss this week, my weigh ins are Friday. This is my last week of C25K so this week I should have three 30 mins runs and we have Stroller Strides on Friday.

  • Yeah, well I forgot I should be counting calories.  But for a little TMI, I am going in for a colonoscopy in a few hours so after last night I definitely weigh less...no food and multiple bathroom trips will get you to lose weight.  However, I'm starving and can't wait to eat lunch today.
