Do you and your family have any? I know a lot of families eat ham or lamb and I'm trying to figure out why. We have no traditions and I'm thinking it might be nice to start some.

Re: Easter Traditions
we normally have either crawfish or fried fish. But the fun tradition is the "Easter Olympics."
Basically we have tons of Easter related games: egg hunt, egg roll (down a slight incline), passing eggs down a line using the spoons in our mouths (know what i mean?), boiled egg tap (try to crack the opponents egg but not your own), raw egg toss....seems like there are some more, I'll have to think of them!
And we have super cheesy prizes for the winners, things like sidewalk chalk for the kiddos, Easter kitchen towels for the adults, etc.
It's so fun and we look forward to it each year.

We have a Good Friday crawfish boil, and then go to Easter Vigil mass on Saturday, and hang out all day on Sunday fishing and sunning and what not.
This year Cam will be baptized on Easter Sunday at 9:30 mass, and DH's family is coming in and we're having a party at my parents'.
