I just got an unexpected $500 or so. I have been saying I would love an iPad but normally extra $ goes to Wesley or other needs. I could save this but part of me wants to splurge.
Any iPad owners what to talk me into or out of getting one? I know $500 would just be the base, but I would probably upgrade a little. I have looked at the options but the biggest ? is to iPad or not to iPad.

Re: iPad or no?
We have one and I really like it - granted, $500 is a lot of money, but if you want to treat yourself...I say go for it! Mommies work hard and you deserve a treat.
We have many "fun" apps - games, social, netflix...etc. We also have "practical" apps - financial, grocery store, stock monitoring.
Overall I'm happy we got it, my hubs surprised me with mine for Xmas and at first I was a little irritated that he spent so much money but in time I've been overall happy with his purchase.
We love it! Especially b/c we can facetime family! The Wheels on the Bus app is priceless for Cole too & the Dr. Seuss story apps! It was my splurge too and I don't regret it yet!
