Tasty Tuesday

I thought I would get this started today.  I am big into crockpot recipes right now, just because they are so easy to prep and forget about.  Share your favorites!

Re: Tasty Tuesday

  • I made rotisserie-like chicken breasts last night.

I bought a rotisserie seasoning mix to make it even easier.  After patting the chicken breasts dry, I sprinkled the seasoning and patted it in.  Then I placed them in the crockpot with just a few squirts of lemon juice.  The key is to not add extra liquid (I did not think the lemon juice would hurt.)  I cooked them from 10:30 last night and woke up about 5 and turned them off.  They smell amazing!  I cannot wait for dinner!

  • I wish I had something to add. I've got nothing - just been making the same meals lately. Haven't had time to really look up anything new. So ya...dinners have been blah!

  • This is one of my favorite crock pot recipes, and DH loves it too!

I always add about a half 4oz. can of diced jalapenos to give it a kick.  And i just add two frozen or thawed chicken breasts in the morning and then shred them when I get home from work.  Then add some cheese and tortilla chips and it's soo yummy!
