Selling house by owner - questions
So I've had my house up for sale with Remax for 8 months and have had very few showings. All the feedback we've gotten is positive, but everyone is buying something cheaper. With the 6% commission we have to pay to the realtor I think we are going to end up losing money when we drop the price to get it sold.
I'm thinking I want to put it up by owner or with one of those reduced commission services online. Has anyone ever done this? 499 MLS looks easy and affordable. Any experience with them?
