Hello fair ladies. I hope you are all doing well. I was on vacation last week and truly had a great time. We got rid of crap in the house, THE STUDS ARE GONE, and managed a few days in Mystic at a lovely b&b. I won $4.65 at Foxwoods and lost $20 at Mohegan Sun. Did I mention the stud are down?????? I am so flipping excited to see home stuff get done. Next step is get rid of that stupid jacuzzi, gut out main bathroom and add second bath.
Aside for our two latest additions to the HV baby crew, what else have I missed?
sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.
Re: Hi Gals!
this!
Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip and came home to progress.
If you don't mind me asking, why are you getting rid of your jacuzzi? We are about to start a remodel and are leaning towards putting one in.
mrsredmoose. our 1870's house came with one bathroom and the previous owners had improperly installed a huge honking corner jacuzzi and eliminated the shower part. my *brilliant** husband felt we needed to keep said jacuzzi and for 5 months my "shower" was a double big gulp cup from 7-11.
he retrofitted some ghetto fab shower thing for me and that is what i've had since April 24, 2007. I hate it, it is a biatch to clean and a true thorn in my side. if we ever get around to doing a master suite I might go for a rectangular jacuzzi but not 1000 percent sure. oh and it broke so no one had used the jets in over 3 years.
go for it! the 4 times i had time to soak in it was fine but to have that as the sole tub and no shower made this sugardumpling a very very bitter betty.
awww, sugar! Super excited for your studs though!
