Interior designer?

Hi guys,

Does anyone have any recommendations for an interior decorator type person?  We have an oddly shaped living room that has been driving me CRAZY for the past two years and I want someone who can help with furniture placement and maybe suggesting some new furniture for the room.

I don't have anyone to suggest, but you might try posting a couple pictures of your room over on the decorating and renovating board.  I post there a lot and the ladies over there are very helpful and have great ideas!  Might be a good start and will save you some money

There is an awesome lady who is all about budget design.  From her house she'll draft up all sorts of stuff, furniture arrangement, etc.  Of course hell if I can remember her website or name!  She was featured in the Pioneer Press biz section a year or so ago.  And the one thing to be aware of is there are DECORATORS and DESIGNERS.  Decorators play with fabrics and colors-only, and DESIGNERS have extra training in more human movement, furniture, space stuff....
