Bridezilla in Training

Well considering my freezer is currently stocked with FOUR different kinds of ice cream (including the Duff Goldman Red Velvet flavor which I'd only say is so-so) and watermelon ices -- I'd say I'm craving ice cream!  I'm on leave so I'm happy about that.  I'm swollen most of the day... my back hurts like crazy even from sitting at the computer for 10 minutes at a time...and I'm sorta nesting.  I'm keeping busy with my to-do lists though!  I think I need to start taking naps but sleep is alright at the moment.  It's uncomfortable but I manage to stay in bed for at least 8 hours (unless you count getting up to pee about 3x a night).  And this baby loves when I play music -- my entire belly shifts side to side and up and down

...feeling so ready yet not ready. I'm ready to have my balance back when I walk, but I still feel like there's so much left to get done on my to do list. One of the things I do remember is to enjoy this time, because once the baby is here, your whole life changes.  How are you nybride?

Wow, Summerbride and Bridezilla- you are so close; enjoy the last few weeks!  I hope they are comfortable.

I'm finally settled in the second tri, and I feel like I've been duped.  Everyone told me my bladder and I would become friends again for a little while right now.  It's so not happening. (I had a sono yesterday b/c of some spotting, all is well than God, but the tech informed me that Gleek likes to tap dance on my bladder. Apparently he loves to do this when I want to sleep).  I also have pregnancy insomnia.  I've been up every morning from 3 to 6 like clockwork for a few weeks. But, if that's the worst of it, I'll take it. After all, I get a baby out of it in 25 weeks.

I've had no food aversions, but there has certainly been people aversions.  I have lost my filter, which has been quite amusing.  God help my students. No real cravings either except for the usual for this season- Cadbury Cream Eggs, yum!

How are you doing, Nybride?  Have you been thinking about a registry yet?

im feeling good... although morning sickness still sucks... i have my freezer stocked with spumoni ice cream, watermelon and lemon italian ices and m&m ice cream sandwhiches. i got my appetite back for chicken which is awesome. dh is very happen about that.. as for "popping" everyone at work is starting to notice something but my kids havent said anything. my principal saids i look like im bloated after a nice italian meal. although i believe for sure today that my little bump is about to emerge. 

 

we started a little small registry ar BRU but next week when we find out the sex we are going to add some more stuff.. we are going to register at BRU and Buy Buy Baby. i am helping my mom plan my baby shower which is set for august 7th at my IL's house. its nice to be able to plan a party.

I am still not feeling great. I hope I start to feel better soon. 12 weeks next week. I just want to be able to cook and go grocery shopping again getting off the couch would be nice too. My DS told me I'm not fun anymore because all I can do is stay home However I know it will pass. I feel like such a baby. I am thinking of registering for the completion discount I do not expect a shower or presents but if I can get a discount on things we need that would be great. Do you get a discount at Buy buy baby too?

Avoid Babies R Us in Nanuet at ALL costs... I've been dealing with furniture nightmares since the beginning of February.  Baby H STILL does not have a full crib (waiting on a headboard!).  It's ridiculous.

Have you called the national number or spoken to the district or regional manger? You should be getting something for this customer service issue.

It's not just the Nanuet store... it's also Baby Cache AND now their delivery service Urban Delivery.  It's their outside vendors mostly.  Already filing a Better Business Bureau complaint and I had originally paid my Toys R Us credit card off... but I disputed it so they aren't getting my money.  I complained to corporate BRU but they've done nothing.  I never plan to spend money there (just the remainder of all my gift cards).

Im glad everyone is doing good! Morning sickness is def no fun at all! I still get random bouts of nausea from time to time and I'm really over that by now haha!

 

Everything here is going good thanks! Tomorrow we have a doctors appointment so I'm excited to see our little girl! Yay! I just cant believe that I'm already half way through my pregnancy. Its crazy!! Im just getting so excited to meet her and be able to finally see her! Its so exciting!

 

I just have to say Im so excited for us! Yay!!
