Re: : )
I like smiling, it's my favorite.
I think I've talked about this on here before, but I've had some extensive dental work... headgear, braces, retainers, whitening, cement bonding - you name it. I thank my parents everytime I look at pictures of myself for their $10K or so investment in my pearly whites.
I only have access to wedding photos on this laptop so here are my favs
LOVE this one smiling at Dad
I like my smile, but I hate what it does to my eye...unless I concentrate really hard on my facial muscles, my left eye squints up all gross-like when I truly smile. And the concentration usually leads to the "fake" smile. So if you pick my smile, you must also endure the squinty eye!
And here's a true squinty eye (and it's not from the kiss, it's the actual shape of my eye when I smile):
I have a very crooked smile. I need braces and for the longest time hated smiling in photos. I have recently started smiling more (in pics and in general) because life is too short. My smile is mine and makes me who I am
I love my smile...now. I used to have a big gap between my two front teeth and finally I couldn't stand it any more so my senior year of college I got Invisaligns...best investment ever! I got this...

Open Mouth Smile (happens frequently!)
I Wish You Wouldn't Bother Me Smile
Drunk Smile
I love my smile too. Did have braces during high school and they were totally worth it.

Self portrait funWith my Newt, who wears my smile out
And apparently you pretty much never see my bottom teeth when I smile...never noticed that before...
I'm really bad about fake smiles in pictures. I squint when I smile, so whenever I know I'm having my picture taken, I try really hard not to squint, which often results in a very fake smile. Siggy pic is my favorite smiling pic.
Another (half) e-pic with a good smile:
and my funny smile. I tend to smile like this whenever I'm being forced to smile for a picture I don't want to be taken. From my bridal shower. I tend to smile like this whenever I'm being forced to smile for a picture I don't want to be taken. But I was really excited about my new knives... My mom calls this my bride-zilla pic:
I've always been really self conscious about my smile, but this pic I guess shows my most 'natural' smile (I'm in the middle)
If there was one thing I could change about me, it would be my smile. I really don't like my teeth at all. They are straight and white but they are so small and my mouth is so large. I just look like a muppet when I smile. So, that being said, I literally have like three photos of me showing my teeth in my entire photo library.
This first picture is from this past weekend "50's night" work event
This second one is probably my favorite teeth-smile photo of me.
people always tell me that i have a nice smile but truthfully, i hate it. if you look closely, my smile is crooked. not my teeth, but my lips. i had a lot of facial surgery done and i have a large scar on my cheek from getting hit by an abusive boyfriend with a broken glass vase. and i think when they repaired it, one side is "tighter" than the other (or maybe im just neurotic). regardless, i dont like looking at my smile because it just brings back bad memories for me.
ETA: i also have this pic of me smiling and mid-sneeze that k-hart took and its hilarious and is a perfect representation of my personality. but i cant find it haha.
The only downside to my smiling is that my eyes get all squinty...

Some times it turns out pretty well... second from left below
I'm in the I love my smile camp.
My sister and I have this inside thing about lips and eyes. I got the great lips, and she got the great eyes.
Love lipstick!

I have an odd way of smiling too- I am not a huge smiler- I guess I need to do it more!
My smile's a bit demure...
this is the biggest it gets really:

My smile isn't perfect, but I like it. I used to have really crooked teeth growing up, before I got braces. I used to always smile with my lips closed, but now I never do.
<a href="http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h205/adia83/?action=view
I like my smile. Two years of braces was totally worth it.
I used to always smile like this, because due to an accident I had as a child, my front teeth had black spots.
Then, I finally made the decision to invest the money to get them fixed. It was the best money I ever spent, and I started smiling like this:
I like my teeth: I always get commented on how straight they are especially since I've never had braces. I don't like how big my two front teeth are though. I have a small mouth and a small smile. Whenever I take pictures, I get self conscious because I always get a double chin when I smile for real so I tend to have a fake smile.

(ETA: While I was searching for whatever pics I could find on FB, I realized, I love my smirking/half smile pics the most!)
(I'm on the right)
I like my smile most of the time. I get the double chin thing sometimes like Heyxu, which I totally hate, but otherwise I think my smile is nice.
This is probably my favorite natural smile pictures ever.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
I like mine, I don't think its to bad.
We had the same dress AND the same squinty eye!! Separated at birth, I tell ya!
