What's your favorite song ever? - Don't Stop Believin' - Journey - So cheesy but my mom and I used to jam to it when I was a kid. I actually did use it as my wedding processional.
What's your favorite song right now? - Love in America - JTX - So catchy and something about the line "buttons on your Levi's about to come loose" just makes me smile.
What song do you despise? - Love Game - Lady Gaga - I can not stand this song. If it comes on I immediately change it. Can. Not. Stand.
What's a song you hated in the beginning but has now grown on you? - Pearl Snaps - Jason Boland - My DH LOVES this song and I thought it was annoying in the beginning, now I kind of like it and it gets stuck in my head.
What is your power song? - Young Forever - Jay-Z f. Mr. Hudson - something about this song just really helps me kill it for a few more minutes.
Bio
I almost feel like I need to explain my very first song choice. My mom and I went to see "Jersey Boys" when we went to NYC in '08. It's about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Apparently, the record label didn't want to release this song because they felt it was too fast to be a ballad but not fast enough to be a pop/rock song. So, the group actually financed the release of the song themselves, which was almost unheard of in their day. It is such a beautiful song--it was in "Conspiracy Theory" and Lauryn Hill did a remake of it and it actually almost makes me cry when I think of it not ever coming out. Plus I like to hear stories about people who are passionate about something like this.

Feet Don't Touch the Ground is pretty amazing. DH and his mom danced to Forever Young at the wedding, which I also really like.
I really want to go to a Texas country concert now.
Randy Rogers is at Lone Star Park on Friday, but I went there last year and sneezed constantly the entire time I was there. I think I can't do that again. :-/
