Re: BR: Registry items
A Boppy (even if you're not BFing)
Diaper Genie or some other diaper disposal system
FP R&P Sleeper (trust me...)
Bottles (even if you think you're going to BF)
Your nursery bedding and accessories
A bath tub
Bibs, burpcloths, receiving blankets(though you may get more than you ask for, and there's nothing wrong with that)
And whatever you do, DO NOT register for clothes. You will get plenty.

The seahorse. You must get the seahorse. Every parent needs the seahorse.

Teaghan loves her snug a bunny swing and her rock and play sleeper.
I love the sleeper bc our bedroom isn't huge and it fits nicely next to our bed for her to sleep in at night until we move her to her crib in a week or two
We could probably live without the bouncer, she doesn't seem to like it that much.
We didn't register for ours... we waited a little longer to get it, but I'm definitely glad we did. That and the Exersaucer!

El didn't like her bouncer or her swing when she was really little, but once she could hold her head up better and had more control, she liked them both. Give it a couple months!
not to thread jack but she is talking about the fisher price rock and play sleeper. We have it also...love it!!
The Fisher Price Rock & Play Sleeper. We've talked about it numerous times here:
I will admit -- I'm a little bitter that the only color I had to choose from when I was looking is this yellow one... now they in a light pink spots, a neutral grey, and a bright pink and brown. Intense.
Also -- yes to Sophie. It wasn't at BRU when I registered though, but now they're everywhere. Also, it's $22, so best to register for it. Sami loves hers, but I don't know if I ever would have bought it on my own for that much...

The seahorse kid of reminds me of a Gloworm, except gloworms didn't make any noise. Does anyone remember those???

Yeah... they've updated those now too, and the new ones make noise:

Yes. Much more portable. We had both this and the pack n play and we never used the newborn napper... in fact, we didn't open up the pack n play until a week or so ago...

drake loves his sea horse. We also got the fp Rock and play sleeper. We had another sleeper at first but he didn't like it. The rock in play is great becuase it's small and fits right by our bed, easy to move, and baby sleeps on an incline which drake loves...he's not a fan of laying flat.
He also loves his sung-a-bunny swing it's our live saver on nights that he just wont sleep.
Diapers, wipes, bottles, crib sheets, and i would reg for breast pads and lanolin. I didn't and had to go purchase all that stuff myself in a hurry its not to expensive but they are needed and you might not feel like going out and getting them right after you get home.
Like everyone else said, the seahorse and RnP are big at our house. I also LOVE the Halo Sleepsack and Swaddles. My son is Houdini and gets out of any regular blanket swaddle so these are great. I had to go buy more because we only had 1 with the swaddle and 1 sack but the sack isn't enough, it's the swaddle part we need.
Also, think about things you'll need down the road that can be costly. Like highchairs, baby gates, etc. Yes you may need to store it for a bit (if you have the room) but getting slammed after a few months for $100 a gate times the number of gates you need in your house (unless you get the cheap ones, but they're such a PITA if you're holding the baby since they require 2 hands lol) it adds up.
We registered for lots of toys/activities for when he's older. Like an excersaucer, a walker, bigger toys etc. That stuff too adds up and you'll want some before their first birthday where they'll get some more toys like that. Obviously only add some of those things if you don't have enough smaller stuff. We were in the same boat you were where we already had a lot of the "bigger ticket" items so it didn't leave a lot for people to get.
Also, a bumbo. We haven't used ours yet obviously but I think it will come in handy. I didn't register for any diapers, wipes or anything because I didn't know what size to do. And I'm glad I didn't because Nate didn't even fit in newborn and went straight to 1's and might be out of those shortly too!
Have fun!
