Paint question!
We're re-doing our kitchen (yay!) and the paint that is currently on the walls appears to be at least a semi-gloss, but possibly even more glossy. Do I need to sand it and rough it up before I paint or do I just need to prime? Or should I do both?
Not sure if it matters, but most of the kitchen is tile, so the only parts we're painting is the ceiling and about 1 foot of the top part of the walls....

The colors are actually pretty similar so no worries there! Woot! We've been sanding our old cabinets and it's sooo tedius and we thought we were finished....then last night I realized the glossiness of the walls and was like "NOOOO!!! Not more SANDING!". I was dreading having to break the news to Michael!
