Do you have a dream race to enter in? I would love to complete a 70.3 or a marathon some day
What would you recommend to a newbie fitness person as the number one thing to incorporate in their new lifestyle? Clean eating -- cut out as much processed junk as possible

Why do you workout (weight loss, enjoy it, health benefits)? All of the above! I'm trying to get within a healthy weight range for my height - 11lbs to go, I think? I dunno, it's in my ticker
What is your favorite workout? I've fallen in love with running.
Do you have a dream race to enter in? I'm seriously thinking about running the Rock'N'Roll Half Marathon this August - we'll see if I can successfully train for that, though. I'd LOVE to do the Chicago Marathon one day. Maybe next year!
What would you recommend to a newbie fitness person as the number one thing to incorporate in their new lifestyle? Find something you enjoy! I can't tell you how many times I'd start a workout routine and not follow it because I was doing something I didn't really like. I also think taking it slow is an awesome idea - I started following the Couch to 5k program and it helped ease me in to running.
Is YH at the same fitness/health level as you? Does he like the same things? My H is studying to be a PE teacher, so he's a lover of all things sports-related. He was super fit in HS and kind of fell out of his workout routine in college. Now, we're both getting more active and he even comes on some runs with me! But he's still more athletic than I am, just because he used to be active and I never was.

Do you workout? absolutely. obesity runs in my family and it's going to be very hard for me to stay away from it.
Why do you workout (weight loss, enjoy it, health benefits)? all of the above. I feel like crap if i'm not working out.
What is your favorite workout? absolutely swimming 1000%
Do you have a dream race to enter in? Right now, I'm working on a half marathon for the fall, but I would love to do a duathlon or triathlon. i also want to do a ragnar relay that is 192 miles split up between 12 people over 24 hours.
What would you recommend to a newbie fitness person as the number one thing to incorporate in their new lifestyle? take it slow, and keep at it. being healthy isn't easy, but its worth it. also, do some reasearch, and don't do stupid things like eat too little, or think that pills or other quick fixes will do anything long term.

DH is so far beyond me. He's doing a half iron man in june, and a full iron man in september. then a marathon in october.
Do you workout? Not as regularly as I should. I want to start the C25K program now that it's warm enough to run outside.
Why do you workout (weight loss, enjoy it, health benefits)? I need to. Type 2 Diabetes runs in the family, as well as obesity and other issues.
What is your favorite workout? I just started Body By Bethenny, which is a yoga video. I love it. I think if I started running I would love that too.
Do you have a dream race to enter in? Ehhhhh maybe the NYC Marathon? I don't know if I'll ever get there.
