Ditto this, though we won't be TTC for a few more years.  The other day I was thinking a bunny theme for a nursery, but I'm sure that will change.

Do you have a preferred birth month? gender? We'd save on day care if we were able to pop the kid out in May/June, since H will have summers off as a teacher. But, meh - we'll cross that bridge if/when we get to it. No preferred gender.

Names picked out yet? Only for girls; we can't agree on a boy's name...but we haven't really discussed too hard since we're not terribly close to TTC (and I keep pushing the starting to TTC date farther and farther away!)

How many do you ultimately want? No more than 2. I always said I wouldn't have an only child since I didn't like being an only, but the more I think about the expenses associated with a kid and about how many things I want to do before becoming a mom...I might be ok with one. We'll see.

Any nursery ideas yet? Nope. We will definitely have a gender-specific nursery when the time comes, though - no team green here!

Will you or DH be a SAH parent? I will be a WAHM. Ooooh, I like that...WAHM! It's almost WHAM! Anyways, by the time there's a little one I plan to be 'togging full time, and I'll have a home office.

two furbabies. Kash is a 6 year old golden lab/hound dog mix and Maggie Mae is a 10 year old lhasa apso/poodle 

Are you trying? Do you wish you were? No, and no. We're definitely not in a place in our lives right now where it is smart to have a kiddo.

Names picked out yet? For a girl we want Adelaide Katherine (named after my great grandma and H's grandma). No boys names yet.
