All week I've been trying to decide what I want for dinner tonight since it's my last real meal for a few days.
What would you pick?
Re: Last Meal
Damn you! All week I have been good with eating at home and now I want a spicy chicken sandwich. Now I have to decide if I should go home and eat my soup or get chick fil a.
Chick fil a is laced with crazy. It HAS to be.
You stole my answer!
Seriously, I would request a ribeye (or sirloin as #2) and loaded potato for pretty much any important (or not so important) meal. I'm a carnivore like that.

Ha Ha! Same with me! I will also add that I would put blue cheese crumbles on top of my steak...yum!
This with chips and a side of queso. Yum!
I think I'll be getting a Joey with a side of queso from Moe's. & maybe a cupcake from the cupcake place at San Jose & Racetrack.
Ooh yeah. I tried to go to LaNop a few days after I had my wisdom teeth out...Not a good idea at all.
I had reconstructive jaw surgery when I was 17, and my chin is still numb in some places from it. This happens to me often, and is why I always have to drink with straws
Interesting. I was specifically told not to use a straw for the first 24 hours, as it posed a bleeding/clotting risk. Is this not the case any more? I had mine out in '96.

I was told not to use a straw as well. I will be getting a bib though.
I never use a straw for my frosties. Always the spoon they give you. Definitely stay away from a straw.
A syringe sounds fun! That sucks. A friend of mine in H.S had that done. She lost 20 pounds, but I'm pretty sure that's not the way she would have liked to have done it.
Oh, and once you start healing, a butterfly syringe is your friend. It pops out all the weird random food particles that get stuck in your holes!
ETA: Sorry, I meant to post this in the good luck thread, not the food thread.
I lost about 15 lbs. during that time. It was so rough though. I'd do it all over again because I looked awful with my underbite, but the surgery was intense. 8 hours long, but they took out my wisdom teeth as a bonus!
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?

I also had jaw surgery years ago and had my jaw wired shut for 6 weeks. I remember having increase my caloric intake a bunch and drink ensure in order to gain weight before hand. I also had places in my jaw that were numb and at times if I touch certain areas there is still a tingling sensation. I also have a huge issue with people touching my jaw area where the plates they inserted are located.
