I couldn't finish it.
I think she's a good author and is very detail oriented in her writing and I liked the concept of the story, but I just couldn't finish it. I don't know if it's overall just NMS, the length of it was too long, or what. I would actually fall asleep every time I sat down to read a good chunk of it. I read the first 300 pages and just skimmed through the rest. She ends up pregnant in the end, right??
If I ever run out of books to read, I would try to read the others in the series, but they wouldn't be my top choice if they are all also 600+ pages.
Re: *Paige* (Outlander)
I am sad to read this!
The books are my all time favorites ... I will admit that they are hard to get into, and there is a lot of detail, but the story is so amazing that I don't mind.
They are all 600+ pages. Maybe try book on CD for your commute? The accents are HOT.

Jamie is HOT!! And the accent on the CD's :::swoon:::
In 10th grade, I took a parenting class where we had to make a baby out of a bag of flour and carry it around for a week. I had a "son" and I named him Jamie Fraser. I grew up in a town called Fraser ... so people thought that's where it came from, but no...

I read Echo when it came out (2009, right?) It leaves a cliffhanger re: Jem. You'll see. I'm on pins waiting!
So I'm re-reading the whole series now.

Sarah I remember you saying that about Jem and I think I'm going to pull my hair out waiting. I'm 55% through (I love that the Kindle tells me that) and I think I might cry without a little Jamie in my life.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you named your sugar baby Jamie Fraser! That had me dying laughing
