PSA: Chayote Recipe (BB)
This morning Paula Deen made Shrimp Stuffed Mirliton (that's what they call Chayote in New Orleans), and it looked like the perfect way to use up those weird squash from last week's BB! Here's the recipe for anyone that's interested:

I'm haven't had time to tackle these yet so they're still in the plastic bags in the fridge.
ETA: DH hates shrimp though which is why I passed over the recipe before...wonder if I could sub chicken.
You can also make a good shrimp 7 mirleton soup with them.
