Vibes, prayers, whatever you have...

Well, this week just keeps getting fricking better and better. I just got a call from my dad, my mom is in the ER. I guess she got really dizzy, light-headed, disoriented, and was having problems breathing, so my dad took her to the ER. They have ran a bunch of tests, and at first they thought it was a mini-stroke (SHE IS ONLY 53 and in great shape!!!!), but turns out that wasn't it, but they definitely found something they don't like, so they are keeping her overnight and running a bunch more tests with a neurologist. I am trying really hard to just stay calm and tell myself it is nothing, but I can't help but get nervous. My mom lives a few blocks from me, and we are EXTREMELY close, so I couldn't even imagine. Please, give me whatever you can spare, that it is something relatively minor with an easy fix!!!

Re: Vibes, prayers, whatever you have...

  • tons and tons of vibes that your mom is healthy and that the tests come back clean. Hugs!
  • Oh, no!!!

My heart is with you 100%...My Mom and I are the best of friends too, and we had a health scare with her (brain anuerysm) some years back, and I physically couldn't breathe, I was so terrified. I will keepy your Mom and your family in prayer during this time, that all will be just fine. Please try not to worry over "what if's" - I did that and it made me crazy. I know that is going to be hard, but just keep reminding yourself that it's going to be okRight Hug

  • Lots of t&p coming your way. Try to remain calm, although I know it's normal to be nervous. Keep us posted!
  • Sending many many prayers to your mom, you and the rest of the family. I completely understand the fear and what ifs you are having. It is only natural to feel that way especially since that is YOUR mom in the hospital. When you are with her, try to stay calm so that she does not feed off your fears. Keep reminding yourself it will be ok. Please let us know what the doctors say!

    hugs to you!
