What did you do with your wedding dress?
Mine is hanging in the guest closet in a garment bag. I haven't had it cleaned or anything and I'm wondering how much longer it should stay uncleaned/unpreserved.
But I'm not entirely sure I want to keep it, so I'm not ready to invest in getting in preserved when I'm unsure.
So what did you do with yours?

Re: What did you do with your wedding dress?
I just got mine cleaned last week. I was really dragging my feet because I didn't want to shell out the $300 that I was quoted to do it. But I found a cleaners that did it for $45 so I jumped on it.
But now it's back in the box that our cake came in...and I have no idea. I know I should get rid of it but for some reason I just haven't been able to make myself do it.

Mine is hanging in its bag in my closet. It hasn't been cleaned, but I really want to get it cleaned and just keep it.
I don't really see any reason why you should feel the need to get rid of your dress if you don't want to. I'm never going to wear mine again and I don't expect any daughters to wear it, but it's my wedding dress and I want to keep it, for whatever reason.
I feel like I should get rid of it because I feel like I have no reason to keep it. I don't have any real attachment to my dress, but to go ahead and get rid of it seems to final. Which, obviously, it is, ha. I'm just torn about whether to go ahead and ditch it or hold onto a while longer to see if I change my mind.
