Hi Ladies!
We just moved into a house from a small apartment. I now have a flower bed & a yard! I am so excited to start planting (come consistently warmer weather)! My mother & grandmother are exceptional gardeners, so I certainly hope I have the same green thumb. Are there any tips one would like to share with me? So far I have a hanging basket out front that I have been watering and feeding religiously & so far so good! Wish me luck!
Re: First time Gardener!
If your mom and grandmother are close, they will be your best resources.
Check out your local ag extension or local nursery for ideas on what works in your area. See what the neighbors have tried that worked (and didn't). Don't be afraid to spend a small amount of $ to try something. If it works, great. If not, you're not out much.

Good Luck! We just moved in to a place with a decent yard. I'm working on it now.
