So here is a summary of that day if anyone is interested or if you have questions yourself about the process.
I had to be there at 8 and couldn't find the parking garage but once I did I took the shuttle to the courthouse. I was a few mins early and it was already packed in there. They did some announcements and everyone found thier seat. They had a "quiet room" you could go to to read or sleep or what not until they called your name. I went and sat in there plugged in my laptop to an outlet pulled up the free wifi they had and browsed around for a bit and wrote in my blog. They called the first group right around 830and it was 180 people. I didn't make that first group. Then they called another group of about 60people at 930ish and yet again I did not make that group. I thought I was going to get stuck there the rest of the day. Another group was called at 1045ish and I got called for that.
Went into the courtroom and they began asking questions. If you had an answer to the question you would raise your juror number and the judge would call on you. We went to lunch and came back and did more questioning. 530 rolled around and finally we got to go. They chose about 10-15people to come back on Monday for more questioning and I'm one of them.
Overall the process wasn't that bad a lot of waiting time but I'm glad I had my laptop and a book with me. I'm hoping I get picked the trial will be almost a month long which would be pretty interesting
