Just thought I'd try to get some conversations started on here.

 I stayed home from work sick today, so I'm hoping to make it to work tomorrow and take it easy that evening.  I am planning a coffee break with my folks tomorrow, as they will be in the city.  Saturday is all about errands, specifically getting my bike tuned up, then out for a nice dinner with my sister & BIL.  Sunday off the the states for a a family get together with the ILs.  

Should be busy, but I hope to get lots of rest and kick whatever bug I've picked up.

It has been very dead here, although I haven't been on as much as usual.

 We are going away for the weekend to the US. However... I'm keeping watch online because there is major flooding on the route and the interstate has been closed on and off. So hopefully we will get there. Part of our motivation for going is that we're picking up blinds and curtains that I had shipped to the boarder. Once we stay for the weekend we won't have to pay duty on them. There is no school in the division that I usually substitute in but I'm really hoping to not get any other calls. If I do I think I might just be available for a half day. Partly because I need to go get cash for the US and I have a hair appt.

My fiance and I are already living together so I guess we are nesties too haha but this weekend we are going to go to the bridal show in Toronto because it is the only one here we can go to before we move to Manitoba  so I am pretty excited to learn more since I should be doing a lot of the planning myself with his help an opinions (I like his ideas ). We are also going to an engagement dinner in Toronto with my side his family is all working and we are hoping to squeeze a dog park trip in since our labX is going a little stir crazy and needs a doggy day I think. Hope you feel better though!

It's my son's third birthday, we're having a party My sister's synchronized swim meet is this weekend too.

We're going out for dinner with friends tonight.  Tomrrow morning DH is working, then in the afternoon we're going to my neice's 1st birthday part and in the evening DH is having a poker party, so the girls who don't play poker will watch The Girl's Next Door .  Sunday will be for doing housework, and we might start painting the living room, if DH isn't too hungover.

We're lucky that my BIL is american... so we ship stuff to his house and he just brings it over the border when he comes to visit.

Thinking of renting harry potter tonight - would love to know what you think about it?

It's great.  It has a couple of weird moments but like the other movies I enjoyed it.  They ended it in a good spot.  Pretty much where I expected them to and in a non annoying spot thank god.  I like that they split the last book into two movies.  A lot happens in the last book and it would be hard to squeeze it into two hours.  I am wondering if they are going to put more of Dumbledore's history in the second movie.  I think they might have to the way they have set things up.
