I saw this online yesterday:

and thought it would be super cute to put together and give to DH's godson. We haven't seen him in a while and I thought it would be a good excuse to go over their house, even it was just for a few minutes. So I got all my supplies and spent time making a little care package of "smeeps" for him. DH calls and says we have something little we would like to drop off for Easter and says something to the effect of "Brendan eats peeps right?" (which we both know he eats marshmellows cause they were roasting them over the fire in the summer). Anyway, the response he got irked me so much...you ready for this?
"Well he eats them, but he's not super fond of them. You should get him m&m or pez instead"
UMMM NO! Unfortunately the kid will get nothing now since his mother ruined it for him. We don't normally give him anything for Easter, i was just trying to be nice.
Am I wrong here?
Re: Annoyed
No you are not wrong. I hate when people tell you what you should by their kid. If you had called and asked what candy they liked, that is a different story.
That just rude IMO.
