Test is over!

1. I got an email my professor Friday night (3 days after I sent her one) and I finally passed that stupid stats test from the beginning of the semester.  I've been passing it but had to have an 80 and I finally got it.  So, that was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders!

2. The test took me almost 4 hours.  It was 100 questions.  Basically, it's the equivalent of a BAR exam is all I can think of.  There were some really easy questions and some super hard ones.  I think I did ok overall

Now, I get to wait 3-4 weeks.....What a PITA!  Thank you all for your words of encouragement, I really appreciated it!

Yikes, so glad you're done!

And be happy it wasn't a real bar exam - 12 to 12.5 hours per state.

Yeah, I know it's not the same as the BAR but that's the only thing I could think to equate it to.  4 hours was enough for me TYVM!  That's why I'm not a lawyer!

Difference is, the bar is over 2 days and involves a lunch break.  4 hours straight is grueling.  I do NOT envy you.  And I wasn't trying to belittle your accomplishment, it's HUGE!  Seriously, great job.

OH, I know.  I didn't feel belittled.  After about 40 questions, I got up to walk around a little.  I told DH if I hadn't finished when I did, I would have gone to lunch and come back.  The problem is, I only had 5 hours to do the test.  I thought oh, that's a long time until the guy wrote 2 hours left on the board and I was at question 71, lol!

Oh man, it IS just like the bar!  I know that need to take a break well.  I had the same issue on the NJ local day - after the 4th essay out of 6, I just hit a brick wall.  I had an attack of "I NEED TO BE DONE NOW."  So I went to the bathroom, washed my face, tried to breathe, and went back.  Totally bombed that 5th essay, but picked myself back up by the 6th.
