We have two big Easter celebrations next week, and I'm in need of some ideas. For DH's side I'm making my famous sugar cookies and for my family I think I'll take Grandma V's famous potatoes...but I kind of wanted a new appetizer to try. What are you ladies making? Or any good recipes to share?

Re: Easter dishes
We are doing Easter Brunch this year so I'm not much help. I'm trying a new cinnamon roll recipe.
1 pkg Rhoade's Frozen Cinnamon Rolls (comes with frosting - 12 rolls)
Place frozen rolls in an ungreased 9x13 pan.
In a medium saucepan mix together
1 stick butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup vanilla ice cream
Cook on medium heat until boiling. Boil for 2 min and pour over frozen rolls.
Cover rolls with foil and place in fridge over night. Next day cooke with foil on for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove the foil and cook for 15-20 more minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly and frost with the frosting that came in the bag of rolls.
A girl at work brought these one day to a potluck and they were so gooey and rich I had to ask for the recipe! I'm excited to take them Sunday.
I completely forgot. I did try a new dip recipe the other day. It is
1 brick of cream cheese
1 can of cream of chicken soup
cooked chopped chicken to taste (I had some left over grilled chicken I used)
sliced jalapeno's to taste.
I put it in my "little dipper" let it warm up for a good 2-3 hours, and then served with tortilla chips. It was really good, and you can make it as mild or as spicy as you like. I added some juice from the jalapeno jar too for more flavor. It was quite tasty and you could easily make it healthier using light or fat free options and baked tortilla chips.
