What a gorgeous day!! Whats for dinner?
Today was a good day. I went to Staten Island to do some shopping at Michael's (why doesnt Brooklyn have a Michael's?!) and Target. I didnt get a thing at Michael's and will have to take another trip in a few weeks..but scored some great maternity clothes at Target and all the fixings so I can make my best friend's daughter an Easter basket...
I hope you're all out enjoying the beautiful weather and NOT cooking for dinner, but rather eating out somewhere fabulous - but if not - what's for dinner?
As for us - its chicken breasts in a white wine cream sauce with artichokes and roasted red peppers over penne.
And Im CRAVING chocolate ice cream with crushed pineapple and strawberries on top, so maybe I'll bust out my ice cream maker and get to making some...

Unfortunately, I did not take advantage of the beautiful weather...instead, I cleaned. My bathroom desperately needed a good cleaning...along with our bedroom carpet (and the rest of the apartment) needing a good vacuuming. Did a few loads of laundry and then I was exhausted. My mom made dinner (meatloaf, mashed potatoes and carrots) tonight and I really wanted to cancel 'cause I was so tired, but she really wanted to see DD, so I sucked it up and went. Got home around 7ish. Baby girl fell asleep in the car and has been sleeping ever since. Really wanna stay up to watch Khloe and Lamar, but I'm beat and don't know if I will last. =/
you know, I think its SO sweet that you spend time with your parents for meals and all that. You're very lucky!
Khloe and Lamar seems interesting, but I have to admit she drives me up a tree with the baby voice and baby talk. LOL
I admit to being a sucker for reality tv: 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom, Sister Wives and now, my new obsession - Mob Wives. LOLOL
I am very lucky to have such wonderful parents...you're right about that!
My mom tries to make dinner every Sunday and I usually have them over every other day during the week 'cause my mom doesn't cook much and when I am talking to her on the phone I usually invite her and my dad over 'cause he doesn't get a home cooked meal too often anymore. lol
Yea...Khloe can definitely get annoying with her voice sometimes, but for whatever reason, I like the Kardashians. lol Besides them and "Jersey Shore" I don't really watch much reality tv...or any tv really for that matter. I do like the "Price is Right" when I can catch it. lol
