baby showers lately...I feel like every weekend I am making at least 3 or 4 baby shower cakes. I made the CUTEST cake yesterday in the shape of a dress with flowers and butterflies all over it.  And a 1st birthday cake in the shape of a firetruck.. I guess it is really spring...Can't wait for next month...wedding season begins!!!!

Two of my friends just had babies last week and a few more just before that. I think spring is probably a big time for baby showers. Most babies are born in the summer, I think.

Actually I read somewhere that the most popular birth date is Oct 5th...babies conceived on new years!

Very possible! I was conceived just a little before that (around Christmas, I guess) because my bday is Sept 30. All the rest of my immediate family was born in August... Thanksgiving babies?!

I know! And August is a popular month for births. The vast majority of my friends were born in August.

DH's birthday is 10/8, so maybe he was a New Year's Baby?
