Hi ladies! I thought this board could use a little pick-me-up, and I would like to get to know you better, so I thought this would be fun. Maybe you guys already know all this stuff, but I am new to the board and soon to be new to the area.

OK- I wil start...
1. Who do you live with- boyfriend, husband, single, kids?? I live with my husband, no kids yet
2. Where do you live? Currently in Firestone, CO (outside Denver/Boulder, but soon to be in Muscatine as of 6/2011)
3. Where are you from originally? Cleveland, OH
4. If you went to college, where did you go? Miami University, OH
5.What do you do for a career? 5th grade teacher- looking for a teaching job on Muscatine or surrounding area
6. What are your hobbies/what do you like to do in the area? I love history, gardening (even though I kind of suck at it), casual biking, camping, tetris, yoga, step, fun get-togethers with friends, I am a microbrew connoisseur, and I enjoy wine tasting, etc.
7. Do you have fur babies? Yes two doggies- Bailey, a goolden retriever, and Kona, a germen shorthaired pointer
I'll play, though I don't reveal too much about myself.

3. Where are you from originally? Veeery small town, central-ish IL, not too far from Peoria.
4. If you went to college, where did you go? University of IL at Springfield.
5.What do you do for a career? I work from home as a bookkeeper.
6. What are your hobbies/what do you like to do in the area? Son participates in a lot of activities, so he keeps us busy. We love to travel. Otherwise, we cherish the rare weekends we have to relax.
7. Do you have fur babies? No. We're not pet people.
How did I not know that you are from the P-town area?!?!??
Yep. Think 1/2 hour west of Peoria. I've been in the QCs since I graduated college in 2005. In fact, my 10 year class reunion is being held next month in Peoria.
First I thought Canton, then I figured that is more than 30 minutes. Then I thought Farmington, because any town between Farmington and Peoria is less than 30 minutes. Then I thought the Glasford/Mapleton region, but that's more SW. Then I went back to Farmington. So that is my guess
Hi, ladies! I've been lurking over here, relatively new to the area. I think I posted an intro a couple months ago...
1. Who do you live with- boyfriend, husband, single, kids?? Just H and I for now. Kids soon hopefully.
2. Where do you live? Just moved to the Illinois side of the QC after spending the last six years in W'loo/CF, IA. We FINALLY moved into our new house this past Thursday. Woo hoo!
3. Where are you from originally? Chicago 'burbs. We're psyched to be back in our home state! SO much closer to family.
4. If you went to college, where did you go? University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
5.What do you do for a career? Job hunting for now because we just moved.
6. What are your hobbies/what do you like to do in the area? I cook/bake and blog (deleted the link from my siggy and can't get back. Grrr.) We're still getting to know the area, hoping to do much more exploring when (if?) the weather ever gets nice!
