What did you think? Overall I was pretty happy with the casting. I thought Sansa looked too old but they did make a comment about her being "tall." I also didn't find Cersei to be as attractive as I pictured. Don't get me wrong, the actress playing her was a very pretty woman, but I pictured there being something special. I don't really know how to describe it.
Overall, I thought they stuck to the initial plot pretty closely and I thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. The only scene I wasn't a fan of was the scene toward the end with Kahl Drago and Daenerys. I remember him being more respectful toward her in the book, but maybe my memory is off.
I'm really interested to see how they handle the Dire wolves as they grow. That was the one aspect of the books that DH was really concerned about. It's hard to translate that to the screen without the effects looking cheesy.
So far, I enjoyed it but I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

My parents don't "technically" have HBO. We don't get it on our cable box but when we turn the cable box off and switch to the main cable feed on the tv, we get it for some reason. We won't have it once we move.
