What did/are you planning to do with yours?
I had been going back and forth on donating it, making a quilt or pillows out of it or preserving it. I pulled it out of the back guest room closet on Friday and a little 2 year old girl saw it and her eyes got as big as silver dollars and her jaw hit the ground in amazement. She said, "wow beautiful princess dress". So I spread it out on the floor and let her step into it. She did not move, just stood there admiring herself. I put the tiara on with it and she started saying "where's the Beast?". LOL too funny so I had to grab my camera.

Guess this answers my question of what I will be doing with my dress. Keeping it and playing pretty princess dress up in it. :-)
Re: Poll - wedding gown
I sold mine. I did save my veil in case my daughter wants to use it someday. I'm not a particularly sentimental person when it comes to physical objects so recouping some money was worth it to me.
That's so wonderful that you got some sweet pictures of Ava in your dress.
I'm wanting to do a back in the dress session for our anniversary(that is if I can still fit in my dress after Little Man arrives.)
After that I will probably have my dress preserved along with my mom's and my grandmothers. I am hoping one day I will have a craft/girls room and will be able to have them frames and hung on the wall.

Ava just kills me. She is so sweet!
I haven't done anything with mine yet, not even cleaned it. Shame. I don't plan on getting rid of it, though. I am ridiculously sentimental about things and want to keep it. I don't have any delusions that my future daughter may wear it someday or anything, but I remember having experiences similar to Miss Ava when my mom pulled out her dress when I was little, and if that's all the use it gets from here on out, that's enough for me.

I love my crazy child!
My Bio
I still have mine handing in the closet. It's been about 2 1/2 years since our wedding and I still haven't gotten it cleaned (shame!). I was hoping to do a back in the dress/trash the dress session, but since my dress is too big for me now, I'd have to get it altered to take pictures. DH actually brought up the idea that we should get pictures taken to celebrate my hard work losing weight, and I brought up the BITD/TTD idea and he said he'd be more than willing to pay for the alterations if that's what I wanted, so yay!
After that, I'll probably just get it cleaned and preserved. I doubt my daughter (if I have one) would want to wear it, but maybe she can use pieces of it for something (like to wrap her bouquet or for trim or whatever). Plus I'm sentimental when it comes to this stuff (I still have my prom dress!) so I can't see getting rid of it.
