How did the baby shower turn out? I know you were a little nervous about it since you didn't have a lot of time to prepare and stuff.

It went pretty well! I did what I always do for parties...spend way too much time and effort on really small details that I could've left out. And we had way too much food. But they all thought that my cookies were cute (on Mel's suggestion, I went to Michaels, and I got cookie cutters in shapes of a onesie, a stroller, a teddy bear, and a rocking horse), and we put them in favor bags for everyone to take home as favors (in addition to the ones they ate during the shower). Considering the hours I spent on those suckers, I'm glad everyone liked them!
One of our games kinda fell flat, but that's okay....everyone seemed to enjoy themselves anyways. And for the first time in a long time, I was a shower where most of the guests didn't have babies themselves. That was kinda nice. (Although I did realize that I was definitely the oldest one there.)

Glad it went well. I do that too spend too much time and effort on small details but in the end it turns out great.
I am glad it turned out well and I know she appreciated it.
